One of the joys of having small, older dogs is the ability to take them with us while running errands. The cooler weather makes this easier, too. Here are some pictures from our trip to Lowes. We enjoyed saying hello to the Boy Scouts and we even scored a few head scratches.
Older pups are more relaxed and confident in new situations, and we have enjoyed taking them with us when we are running around on the weekends. Molly and Lucy love being included, and there is no stress regarding rushing back to the house in time to let them out. We have practiced, starting with shorter car errands at first. So the pups are fine snoozing in the car while we stop at a restaurant or a place that doesn't allow dogs.
