I'm knitting a sweater for Molly. I found an easy pattern from fellow blogger Hartwood Roses. She needs something a little larger and longer than the original dimensions, so we are trying it on as I make adjustments. The lower picture captures her mood perfectly.

I just stumbled onto your blog last night, nice find! It is great to read/ hear about others & their experiences w/their seniors because I too am a sucker for seniors. Our latest additions to our family from 2 local county/city shelters are a 13(+?)yo 4lb Chi & a 12yo 8 lb Chi. Our other adopted babies are our soon to be 15yo ChiX, 11 & 8 yo Rat Terriers. Yes, we have had some larger vet bills in getting the newest seniors healthier after neglect, but I feel like I have won the lottery with their adoptions! Knowing I have made a positive change for their golden years is in turn helping me be a better person.

Thanks for your post! And thanks for adopting an older dog. I love the little pups, especially the Rat Terriers and Chihuahuas. Give your new dogs a cuddle from all of us!

Visiting from Winnie's "blog" and she looks AAAdorable in her sweater. Yes to adopting a senior; over the years, I've adopted many...or have they adopted me?...and they all are loving companions. Most were picked up on the road where they'd been dumped. Like the old feller said, "If I came on someone dumping a dog, they might get a meal, but I'd at least get a sandwich."

I am so glad that you found my sweater pattern! Winnie was surprised when I showed her the beautiful sweater that you sent to her. Thank you very, very much for your kindness!

Connie, I never understood what an RSS feed was even for, so I might not have it set correctly. I'll fiddle with it when I'm edititng again. I'm also going to do a cross post of Winnie's insanely cute sweater pictures as soon as I get a chance to put together a proper blog post.

Turns out it wasn't your problem. The feed is there, it's just not accessible to the Blogger widget from your home page URL. When I copied and pasted the URL for the feed page, it worked perfectly. Now you're listed on my sidebar, and I can keep up with all the stuff that's happening in your world. Leave a Reply. |
